RGNUL's School of Agricultural Law and Economics to Hold 5-Day Faculty Development Programme on Law and Economics
The School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, is organising a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Law and Economics" from 11 to 15 November 2026.
The programme is meant to be an academic and interdisciplinary platform for exploring how legal frameworks and economic principles connect. It aims to help participants understand how economic reasoning can inform legal analysis, policy formulation and institutional decision-making, and to encourage discussion on contemporary legal and economic issues.
Registration opened on 22 September 2026 and closes on 8 November 2026. The fee is ₹500 per participant. Students, faculty members, research scholars and other interested participants can apply, but members of SALE are not eligible to register. Registration is done through the form provided in the official brochure, and is treated as complete only after the form and payment details are submitted.
The top three performers in the programme will have the opportunity to receive a research assistantship, and participants will be recognised based on their performance through the programme.
SALE is a Centre of Excellence at RGNUL that focuses on teaching and research at the intersection of agricultural law, economics and public policy, with interests spanning agricultural marketing, insurance, tenancy, credit, standardisation, international trade, sustainability and environmental protection.
