23 Oct 2026 · Legal News · By LawQuorum

S.K.J. Law College is inviting original, unpublished and innovative legal research papers for an upcoming issue of Vidhi Darpan Law Journal. The journal is peer-reviewed and aims to advance legal knowledge and encourage rigorous scholarly dialogue.

The journal is published under the banner of Sri Krishna Jubilee Law College, located at L.P. Shahi Path, Gannipur, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Its ISSN is 3108-2319. The college promotes legal education and scholarship, and through its academic and research initiatives encourages critical engagement with legal principles, institutions, policies and contemporary social challenges. The journal provides a platform for legal scholarship, research-based analysis and informed discussion of established and emerging areas of law.

Academicians, research scholars, students, legal practitioners and other legal professionals are welcome to contribute. Each submission must be the author's original work, must not have been previously published, and must not be simultaneously under consideration by another publication. Contributions should demonstrate sound legal reasoning, a clear research focus, engagement with relevant authorities and a meaningful contribution to legal debate. Submissions relating to doctrinal, empirical, comparative or interdisciplinary legal research are welcome where relevant to the subject.

The call is open to papers across the field of law. Suggested themes include Constitutional Law and Human Rights; Criminal Law and Justice; Corporate and Commercial Law; Environmental Law; Cyber Law and Technology; International Law; Women's and Child Rights; Legal Education and Research; and any other emerging area of law. The call expressly invites original legal research papers and articles. The poster does not specify separate categories for case comments, book reviews or legislative notes, and authors proposing these formats should confirm their suitability with the editorial team before submission.

Papers should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes, and submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. The font and layout should be Times New Roman, 12-point, with 1.5-line spacing. Citations must follow the Indian Law Institute (ILI) Citation Style, and the similarity index must be below 10%. All submissions will be subject to plagiarism and similarity checks. Authors should submit only a complete, carefully proofread manuscript with accurate and consistently formatted citations, and the paper should clearly identify its research question, argument and conclusions. Authors are responsible for ensuring originality and for obtaining permission for any third-party material reproduced in the paper, where required. Submissions that do not meet the stated word limit, formatting or originality requirements may not be considered.

To submit, authors should use the "For Submission" QR code on the official Call for Papers poster to access the submission route, and the separate "For Guidelines" QR code for submission instructions. The poster does not list a direct submission email address; authors should use the designated submission route or contact the journal for clarification. Before submitting, they should verify that the manuscript follows the journal's word limit, formatting, citation and originality requirements.

The submission deadline is 5 December 2026. Acceptance notices will be sent on 24 December 2026, and publication is expected in February 2027. There is no publication fee.
